Strawberry Yoghurt Ice Cream

06.10.2013 - Batam.  I make two ice cream at the same time, the Mango and Strawberry Ice Cream. This batch of strawberries really really damn sour, so i turn them into Ice Cream or else i will make Strawberry Jam.  For the Jam, i will do it in my upcoming exercise.  

Here is the Strawberry Yoghurt Ice Cream Recipe, steps by steps with picture provided to guide you for a better understanding.  Anyway, steps and ingredients all the same as Mango Ice Cream.   Happy Making!.

By far, this is my favourite!! super delicious!! smell so good and just delicious!! i will sure make this again whenever i have strawberries.

Nicely scoop just after 6 hours. Good to eat.


Ingredients:
200 gm. fresh strawberries
1/2 Cup granulated sugar (sweetness depends on how sweet the strawberries are,cut down sugar if the strawberries are very sweet)
1 cup whipping cream ( 200g )
1 tsp. strawberry emulco ( I didn't add this as it is not available in my kitchen pantry, you may add this if you want to just after Strawberry & Yoghurt Mixture into whipped cream before transfer to container )
125 gm. strawberry flavoured yoghurt  ( I used the whole cup fo E&V strawberry yoghurt instead of 100gm)

Method:

*Blend Strawberry Flesh and sugar together becomes puree.  Blend till granulated sugar has dissolve.
*With hand mixer whisk whip cream until stiff. ( whisk until stiff but do not over whisk )
*Mix Strawberry Yoghurt into Strawberry puree and fold in whipped cream.  Cover with a plastic wrap,
*Transfer to container and freeze for 6 hours or overnight.
*This is how i handle my frozen ice cream after a long overnight.  Remove from freezer 10mins before serve.
 4 ingredients Strawberry Ice Cream

 Blend strawberries & granulated sugar until smooth

Blend until a Strawberry Puree

 If you prefer a smoother yoghurt texture, you may use Yag Go instead of Fruits

 Mixed in Yoghurt into puree

 Stir until well combined

 Mixed Strawberry Puree & Yoghurt Mixture into Whipped Cream

 Mix until well combined

 If you wanna mix in Strawberry emulco, you could do it now before transfer to Container

Transfer to container  

 Cover with plastic wrap, freeze for 6 hours or overnight

 Here you have a lovely ice cream after 6 hours

 Smooth and delicious! Strawberry smells fantastic!

I was so surprise! so delicious Strawberry Ice Cream.  You can never have enough! Its little sour, sweet and the smell of strawberry just so lovely!! 

After 6 hours just perfect to eat.  But if you gonna eat this overnight the next day, this ice cream will be come frozen hard in the freezer.  Remove from freezer 10 - 20mins before served :)
